What is RSS and How Do I Use It?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Think of RSS as a way to keep updated on certain items without having to weed through the entire website each time to find out information you want to know. It can be downloaded from other programs or there are sites online that can manage multiple RSS accounts or RSS feeds.

If you are using web browsers such as FireFox 2 or Internet Explorer 7, when you click on the feed link you will be presented with the option of subscribing to the feed. This means your browser will actually bookmark just the feed so you can check that as part of your daily surfing routine. Our RSS feeds are directed into our daily sales and our articles. This way if you are interested in keeping track of what we have on sale or what we don't have on sale you can subscribe to our sales feed. We also offer an articles feed, so that you may see what latest articles we have posted.

Why Register an Account?

You should register an account with us if you wish to purchase products or recieve our sales flyers through your email. Our sales flyers are not mandatory through e-mail and can be recieved through RSS as mentioned above. Registering an account with us provides you a quick means to place online orders with us. How Do I Add an Item to the Cart?

On each individual product page there is a "Add to My Cart" button located on the right side in a little blue rounded box. There is also a quantity picker there as well. Just select the quantity you want, you may change this quantity later, and then click the "Add to My Cart" button. This will place the item in your shopping cart and take you to the items you currently have in your basket.

How Do I Delete an Item in the Cart?

On the shopping cart page there are 3 buttons near the top called "Empty Cart", "Recalculate", and "Continue Shopping". Each item in your cart has a SKU, Name, Quantity, and Price. To delete a specific product set its value to 0 in the quantity box and then click the recalculate button. This will remove the product from your cart. You may delete multiple items if you wish, the recalculate button recalculates quantities for the entire cart and deletes those items with a quantity of 0 out of your cart.

How Do I Change Quantities in the Cart?

On the shopping cart page there are 3 buttons near the top called "Empty Cart", "Recalculate", and "Continue Shopping". Each item in your cart has a SKU, Name, Quantity, and Price. To change the quantity of one or more items, simply change the quantity number in the box and hit update. Your cart subtotal will be recalculated and shown to you.
