Omega-3 Gelcap is composed of polyunsaturated fatty acids which are found especiall in fish (like tuna and salmon), fish oils, green leafy vegetables, and some vegetable oils.  The fatty acids in Omega-3 are essential because the body cannot manufacture them and me must obtain them through our diet.  They come from deep cold water fish that are caught in the wild.  The processing technique (done in Norway) guarantees the production of high purity EPA/DHA Omega-3 fish oils and minimizes the presence of impurities.  It is tested to be free of potentially harmful levels of contaminants ( i.e. Mercury, heavy metals, PCB's dioxins, and other contaminants).  The enteric-coated soft gel protects the the contents of the capsule from stomach acid by preventing gastric juices from dissolving the softgel in the stomach.  This allows you to have the benefits of Omega-3 without the fish oil taste.
Scientists' studies have shown that Omega-3 decreases risk of sudden cardiac death, decreases triglyceride levels, decreases groth rate of arterial plaque, and can slightly lower blood pressure.
