Copper ~ Nature's Answer To Parasites!
Copper is an amazing mineral that has taken a bad rap. Many people think or have been told that copper is a toxic metal and a hazardous substance. All of these things could very well be true of different forms or types of copper. Not so with Angstrom Minerals. Of course, anything in excess isn't good. Sometimes less is more.
Copper is an essential trace mineral found in most foods. It is found in whole grains, nuts, leafy, greens, beets, seafood, etc. And...believe it or not, toxicity is a rarity. Usually with toxicity if you supplement with enough zinc, it should clear up the problem.
Copper is wonderful! It plays an important role in the system. It is necessary to convert iron to hemoglobin. It is also vital to respiration. According to George L. Redmon, PhD, ND, in his book entitled, "Minerals, What Your Body Really Needs and Why", protein hemoglobin carries oxygen in the blood and requires copper for its synthesis and function. He also states that copper may be useful in helping with lung damage associated with emphysema.
Interesting enough, scientists have found that copper plays a key role in slowing down the degenerative effects of rheumatoid arthritis. It will interact with the pigments in fats to inhibit free radical formation, helping with all types of inflammatory disturbances.
Copper is great for a number of things. We have found it to be quite effective in expelling parasites from the system. Once copper is ingested, parasites try to leave the system and you may experience what is called a "toxic flush or healing crises". This is where all of your symptoms seem to get worse and worse. This is normal. You might experience abdominal cramping, rashes, itching, allergies, etc. These are all common on a parasite cleanse. Once a person has finished the cleansing process, they usually find that they feel better than ever. Copper is also wonderful for the skin, hair, arteries, metabolism and cellular oxidation. A little bit goes a long way.
